Yup, you're right, it was the 18/3.5. What impressed me about the L glass was the total absence of apparent distortion through the viewfinder, and the fellow at the counter said the Zuiko was just as good. I was already in shock and afraid I might drop another sample, so I declined to handle it. ;)

I think the Zuiko you intended is the 18mm f/3.5 and it is a very fine lens.

It *is* easy to make perspective lines very unnatural looking with it.  I
haven't noted any "distortion" (pincushion, barrel, etc.), and Gary Reese's
lens testing of two samples also mentions a lack of distortion.
