J,ai enfin reçu mon OM-2s on friday! I was excited like a little boy! It's
in really good shape just like you said. Thanks!!!!
Of course, I had to put it to the test, so I ran to the freezer and took a
Sensia II 200ASA (someone gave me 3 rolls of these...don't know if they're
good...). In the previous week, i've downloaded the manual in PDF format and
red it so I could be ready when th -2s arrived! So, I put my only Zuiko so
far (50 1,8) on the body and was ready to go!
I took the first shot on Auto (a nice flower): INCROYABLE!!! The hole
mechanism is so smooth compared to my om-10, I can't beleive this! I know it
sounds weird but it was my first time with another Olympus body! After that,
I tried the spot meter: cool! Can't wait to see the results... Finally, I
tried a macro flash shot with my Tamron 90mm F2.5 (thanks Jaap) and my
girlfriend's Vivitar 550FD (Thanks Tom Scales).
I didn't really tried the Program mode 'cause I didn't red about that so
far, so don't know yet how it works. Well, sorry for that long Email, just
wanted to shared my first impressions!
I will scan some slides as soon as I can...
