: The super sticky seal wants to attach itself to the sides of the
: channel as you're trying to lay it in.
The trick is not to remove all the protective plastic at once. Free just a
small stroke of 2cm and put that in place. Then free the next small stroke.
A pair of fine tweezers are also useful to put it in place. Using this
method I had no problem replacing the light seal foam and mirror damping
foam in two cameras.
