Try new batteries. Sounds like they're dead.
OM-2n can function on "deader" batteries than a 4.

Hi Zuiks,
Got a problem with my OM4. I thought it was just
dead batteries but tried them in my OM2n without a
worry so now I am worried! Basically, nothing in
the viewfinder display comes on, and when I go to
check the battery it just makes a single very
short beep. No light comes on the battery check
either. What is likely to be the problem and will
it be expensive?!? The camera still fires on
manual 1/60sec, using flash etc..
It happened out-of-the-blue. The only thing I did
out of the norm was stick a winder on it but
that's it.
Any advice would be really appreciated,
