IMHO Hoya runs a close third behind Heliopan and B+W.  I've had a number of
their filters and never a complaint about them, especially the HMC, and the
Oly L39 (??) UV has been very good.

Always wondered if Hoya ever made a thin ring with their own name on it.

BTW, Heliopan has switched over completely to thin rings.  YMMV as there is
still old stock out at the retailers.  Not quite as thin as the Oly, but
very close.
