First, thanks to all for your comments on Provia and Kodachrome!

Yep, Provia is definitely very good for scanning: it looses many of
the greens I don't like. Kodachrome looses the brilliance I do like :(

That's why I stay with the Kodachromes for my vacation to India next month.
Although the Himalayas will look a little "dull" on Kodachromes, the
portrets
will compensate this fully!
(And my wife will shoot pictures on negative film (loaded in an OM1), so it
won't be Kodachrome solely.)
Kodachrome processing in The Netherlands is excellent: scratches, etc, are
very, very rare. Much better than E6 processing at an ordinary lab.
