All of my shots were handheld. In Chemainus, there were some pretty
large crowds (tourists! Grin!), so it was hard to setup a tripod without
having people trip over it. We also spent a fair amount of time standing
around, waiting for the other terrorists... uhhh... tourists to get out of the
way of our shots. :-)

Hmmm.... I didn't notice any overall loss of sharpness. What I *did*
notice, though, is lack of detail in the darker areas (e.g. shadows). At
Englishman Falls, I was standing on a walking bridge taking shots of
the Falls with two stands of trees (and accompanying shadows, of
course) on each side of the Falls. For that shot, the resulting photo
looks like the Falls wedged between two pitch-black blobs. (Sigh!) I'm
afraid if I had gone to manual mode and lengthened the exposure I
would have gotten shadow detail and a big white blob for the Falls.
(Sigh!)

"Lush colors" is an understatement! I've never seen a film that has such
bold colors!
Let's just say that, overall, I'm impressed with the boldness (saturation?)
of Agfa Ultra 50. It could do with alot more tolerance for variable lighting
situations (like give me at least *some* detail in the shadows), and I
wouldn't recommend it for all situations, but it's kinda cool stuff.
