Rob,
       This is a flaw in the OM10 design. The little leaf spring that 
provides detent/friction on the shaft either breaks off , or it's mount wears 
so that the switch becomes very loose. Fixing can often be relatively simple 
since the camera top does not need to be removed, only the switch and rewind 
knob. I have repaired these using two part cyano-acrilate (gel style !!!! ) 
glue (NOT the common low viscosity runny, crazy glue). The two part is much 
stronger than the single part glue and can be built up easily. Be careful of 
damaging the gold fingers that go down onto the printed circuit switch when 
assembling/dissembling the switch.
             Don't even think of using low viscosity cyano-acrilate for this 
repair as you are likely to do more harm than good.
