In the OM-prospectus "Die Cameras im OM-System" from about 1983 there
is a picture which showes Zuiko MC 2.8/180 with serial No 110780.
It is shown together with a #1642xx E.Zuiko 4/200; A ' 1699xx MC 2.8/135 and
a #391714 Zuiko 3.5/135. All of them are black versions.
On other pictuers you can se #100001 of the AF 4/35-70 which is labled as new.
And the 3.5-4.5/35-105, also pretty new those days, has #100186.

I´ve been thinking about to collect the serial Numbers from all photos, where
the
age is known. A table with this information might help to guess the age of a
lens.
But I concluded that there might be too much uncertanity because you don`t
know weather the lens was really new when it was used for the shot.
What is your opinion about?
