I know the OM4 and 4Ti have a switch position between Auto and battery
check that does a reset. I am not sure about the 2S but I would think
setting the shutter speed ring it to manual B or 60 would do the same
thing on a 2S.
I don't think doing so more than once would be neccessary.
What is the problem you are trying to correct? Is the mirror locked up?
