I've got the EE I was playing with the other day as well as an EE2 that I have
not yet tried. Got them both at a local swap meet fairly cheap after I also
bought a black OM1 kit from the same guy. They are really in good condition
except for the foam (now replaced). He also had a box full of Trip 35s but I
passed on those since I already have two. I think from memory the EES-2 was
the half frame equivalent of the Trip 35, my EEs are fixed focus :-(

To answer your question about the Samurai, I've also got an X3.0 (er and an
X4.0 as well, but don't tell my wife) and find it an occasionaly useful point
and shoot. Horizontal format rather than vertical, date printing etc. Lens
appears quite good and I find the ergonomics good. Everybody assumes you
are using a video camera which in Oz at least, means that you can get people
shots you might not otherwise feel comfortable getting. For some reason
people don't seem to mind being "videoed" as much as having their "photo"
taken. The main weakness of the camera is a tendency for the autofocus to hunt
in low light and it does not have a focus assist light.

I've got an instruction book for it so if you don't get one and have any
questions drop me an email.

I've found a local lab willing to do half frame recently as well as getting a
film scanner so I think I might use the half frame a bit more often.

I just though about why I seem to have two of everything. Maybe it's my
background in IT, always have a backup :-)
