I suggest, if you are going to do this sort of thing again, you
obtain/borrow a Booster Kit II with the Minolta IVF - it has an adaptor to
measure directly from the viewfinder and others to measure at the film
plane, a microscope eyepiece and spot probing. They're expensive new but
can be picked up cheaply second hand. Main use is for large format as you
can do spot readings off a ground glass screen.
