broadside by an "invincible" 18 year old driver. Airbags deployed,
everyone walked away from it...Lisa and I saw our lives flash in front of
us as the truck spun
180 degrees and landed in the bushes.
Something like that happened to me. Was in a parked car when an 18-wheeler
smashed into us. Whole life flashed before my eyes...all three years of it.
Short trip.
Just one more reason why Lisa and I hate Long Island just a little
bit more...
Try Shelter Island. Great fishing, not too many people, reasonable driving
distance from the rest of your family...'course, if you're not a
'harelegger' you'll never quite fit in, but who cares. Place is full of
misfits anyway.
