Greetings Barry, I have often wondered if such a
device could be built. Here is what I have decovered.
One day, while looking at my Kodak Duoflex IV I had
the idea of holding its "brillant" type right angle
finder up to the eyepiece of my OM. I found I could
view and focus adequately with my eyes abiut 1 to 2
feet the Kodak finder. A "brilliant" type finder
consist of 2 convex lenses, edge to edge at 90 degrees
with a first surface mirror forming the hypotenuse of
the triangle. If I could find the right lenses and
mirror I believe an workable prototype might be built
to demonstrate proof of concept. Any thoughts from
List members about this idea would be greatly
appreciated. TIA John Robison
