Hi Wayne:

I think an Olympus Infinity Stylus Zoom 80 QD Deluxe Wide would fit the
bill. It has a 28-80mm f/4.5~8.4 lens, close focusing to 2.6', weather
resistance ("splash proof"), panorama mode, and weighs 9 oz. I really
should use mine, but I'm looking to buy a 35W panoramic back for a
Bronica ETRSi and selling mine will make the purchase easier. Plus, I
get frustrated with each and every roll of film from a point and shoot
because of not being able to control what they do!

Alternately, if a 38mm wide angle is sufficient, the Stylus models with
115 and 140mm maximum focal length lenses are super popular.
