I remember writing this, but I referred only to the lens being mounted
on one of the Camedia SLR digital cameras. The snap-in attachments
didn't work well, and there was a risk of loosign the lens by merely
touching it. Therefore I sacrificed a step up ring - needed with these
cameras anyway - and glued the lens into that.
The result was a 'normal' screw-in type teleconverter, and it serves
me well (although I still prefer the quality of the IS-3 B-300 1.7x
converter, even when the latter is more bulky).

I do not know how the snap-in attachment works with the Centurion
though. I guess it will not make much difference, but I cannot be sure
since I never used an APS camera (and never will, for that matter).
