It would have to be the 1, mainly for reasons previously stated, but mainly
for it's reliability and suitability for most conditions, and no battery
drain!!. 

It is also good for exercise, forcing you to walk around more to get close
to meter your subject.

The meter scale of my 2n doesn't pop out fully when you turn the camera on,
either in auto or manual mode. Part of it remains obscured from view, but
not enough to be too much of a problem. It would be nice to have it sorted
though. Is this a job I could attempt myself?
