Yes, it does Chuck. It works automatically in any of the program modes. On the
OM-PC / -40 you also have the added possibility to turn it off (in any mode),
while on the iS cameras you'll have to use aperture preferred, shutter speed
preferred or manual exposure modes (where ESP is not active). Don't know though 
if
the ESP metering in the iS cameras is of a more advanced variant or if it's
identical to the one in OM-PC / -40 Program.

Much quieter and smoother than the crude OM-10 in my opinion. A friend of mine 
has
an OM-40 which has seen very little use, and maybe one day I'll buy it...
