Nope, I'm a righty and have a dominant left eye, so I often shoot left-eyed
- cameras and handguns. Rifles I can manage. But I'm a lousy shotgunner
because of the cross-dominance - can't keep both eyes open as one is
supposed to.
(Nope, I'm really not trying to start a gun thread! This is just another
area where cross-dominance is a problem. OTOH, it's great for right-handed
batters.)
Makes it tough for me to follow action since the camera body blocks my
peripheral vision. I occasionally switch to the right eye for action
shooting so I can use the left eye as a "sighter", but the left eye often
wants to take over. I suppose if I switched to AF this technique would work
better.
The oddity I've noticed is that vision through my right eye is sharper, and
a full "stop" darker. Hmm...
