For the vast bulk of the PhotoJ "people work" I simply used

I've been using my 21/3.5 in this way and I couldn't agree more. You have
to have a very good relationship with the subject for a full face portrait
and to warn them that there will be an element of charicature (spell?). It
is great fun and you get major changes of effect with very slight changes
of angle. I dropped three 8x10's of these on the table at work the other
day and people were VERY complimentary. So far, I've found it easiest to
get co-operation for these 'in your face' portraits from children and older
men - too challenging for others? I have one at
http://www.taiga.ca/~gallery/subpages/fildes/fildes.html - he's a good head
but it was an early attempt and my techniques improving.
