Actually, my wife finally got a job yesterday after 3 months being out of
work, and I've decided to keep it. The original decision to sell it so
quickly was based on the fact that I hadn't discussed the purchase
beforehand with my wife, and, as a zuikoholic, I rashly made the purchase
(FOR MORE THAN THE AUCTION CLOSING PRICE, FOR THOSE HARD OF HEARING). I
can't believe offering one of the more rare lenses in the OM lineup for less
than eBay's average selling price has caused so much of an uproar. I have
come to the conclusion that the people that don't like it are the ones that
need everything to be exactly fair, and can't stand to think that I may have
gotten a great deal on a rare lens. I bought it with full intention of
keeping it, but was struck with reality after it arrived and I disclosed it
to my wife. She doesn't know the difference between it and a 50mm f/1.8.
She just sees how much it cost. This goes back to the honesty thing. I
should've discussed the purchase with her beforehand. Anyway, Andrew,
you'll be happy to know that I'm now keeping it, and I'll list some other
stuff on eBay (never again the to the list) to offset the costs.

James
