I think that the XA-1 is the only fixed focus XA model, and it is not really
the best of them all.  The XA is the 'top of the line', but is a split image
focus (not just multi-step).  I like mine and used it a lot years ago, so
much so that it is on its way back from a CLA so it can go into my briefcase
again...
