I dunno, but the seller is located in Vancouver, BC. Up here in the
Canadian Hinterland, mercury batteries *aren't* illegal (yet!). So, maybe
e-Bay goes by what's legal in the seller's country??? Just a guess on
my part.
Quick side comment... I found it cute that the camera was describes
as, "excellent condition, no dent, one ding on the edge of the
baseplate." Someone wanna explain to me the difference 'tween a
"dent" and a "ding" please??? Oh, I know! A "ding" is okay damage
and a "dent" is not-okay damage... right??? <G>
Gotta remember that one for *my* e-Bay ads! <G>
