Could be a rusty (between the bottom of the switch and the bushing.)

Subject: [OM] gritty om-1n switch

| what could possible cause a gritty switch? that is, it feels like there's
| gravel/sand in there somewhere as i rotate it to switch the meter on and
| off. this on a "minty" om-1n i bought (non listy--bad move) almost a year
| ago. it would occasionally feel slightly gritty (compared to the trusty
| om-1n black that fell of a telescope and was repaired), but today i was
| out taking fall color shots, and it was scaring me; like something down
| there would grind out! a simple remedy or a deep-rooted problem? thanks,
|
