One lens?
50/1.4. It's the sharpest, assuming it's MC (>1,000,000 serial no). If it
isn't, the 28.
Two?
28/2.8 and 50/1.4, but it's a very tough choice. You will need all three, I
would've thought.

Mini tripods are OK, monopods too. I've never used either and my pictures
are mostly sharp enough. Whether they're good enough, though.....
I've tried most available slide films, and a fair number of print films. I
keep coming back to Kodachrome 64. Accurate colour rendition, sharp and
just barely fast enough for handholding most of the time. Plus it's the
best archival quality slide film, meaning it'll last for years. I've got 16
year old (badly stored) slides that look as fresh as the day they came back
from the lab. Fuji slides from the same time (and stored just as badly)
look increasingly washed out and "mushy".

Changing the subject a wee bit, I've just noticed that my OM-3 has two
different beeps. One, the usual one, which sounds when a spot reading etc
is taken, and another, louder beep (from a different bit of the camera
AFAIKOCT, the bottom left hand side of the lens mount) when the battery is
getting too low for the LCD light to stay on. Do I get a prize? Is it a
furby?
