Next time they tell you that, tell them this:

"YOU send ME a brand new unit...  NOT refurbished or repaired!  Before 
you send it, make DAMN sure it works!  When I get it, I'll send you your 
!$#@& piece of junk back!"

Probably a good idea.  Otherwise, you might physically harm it (i.e.
