Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried good old ronsonol lighter fluid? It
seems to emulsify most types of adhesives I encounter yet is friendly to all
the substrates I've applied it to. It, obviously, is just a bit flammable,
but it is effective.

While the citrus based solvents are not flammables, they have their own
problems. Some
folks can have allergic reactions (I get NASTY skin rashes from em) and they
can wreak
havoc with many plastic and rubber parts. Keep in mind that ANY solvent can
have it's
problems and safety concerns.
