Eloquently put Susan, I am reminded of the older
gentleman who would visit the camera store where I
worked in the early to mid 70's. He looked to be about
in his 60's and used "ancient" Exaktas. He was looking
for a 200mm lens with an external auto mount for his
old varex body and the other salesmen in the store
just blew him off with "nah, ya can't get any more
lenses for that old camera" I managed to stop him
before he got to the door and told him that yes, we
have a number of lenses to fit. I then fixed him up
with a T-4 mount 200. He was so thrilled that he
bought a 135 and a 28 also. Even as I was helping him
though, I felt sad for him and was thinking "why dont
you just trade in that old camera for something
current". Now, more than 25 years down the road I
think I know why. It's the same reason I don't want to
let go of my 25 year old 1's, they are a part of me,
they are a part of lost youth, they are a part of that
faded glory...... John
