While browsing eBay, I've seen at least a couple of 40mm pancake Hexar
lenses attached to Konica SLRs and although I haven't tracked them to
auction close, they didn't seem to be either very expensive or attracting
much bidding. Hexars seem to have a good reputation - a possible affordable
alternative to a Zuiko. You could, of course, buy a 40mm f1.7 Zuiko with a
35RD attached.
