Lex, I had the same idea. I would be thrilled to bag such a deal, and have
often turned the sow's ear into a silk purse. But I couln't refer to it as
minty, or as new. I refurbished a Tascam tape deck that I got for a song.
After my efforts and expense, it was basically in excellent condition for a
pittance in cost. Anything that requires or has had cleaning cannot be
called mint. Nothing gets scrubbed before leaving the mint! That shine is
there because no dirt or schmutz has been there.

Now, did you HAVE to put breath fresheners and toilet deodorizers in the
same category? Yuck!
