I think we're getting close, but its not 10 megapixels.  I own a 2700dpi
scanner (about 10) and a 4000 dpi scanner (18 megapixels) and the difference
is remarkable. The 2700dpi scanner does a fantastic job, don't get me wrong,
but the 4000dpi scanner produces stunning results.  A good drum scanner does
even better.

I think 20-25 megapixels will do it, but that's more than 3 years away, at
least at a cost I can afford.
