Depends on how often you remember to turn it off!
I've just had a bizarre battery experience. Bought an original, non-MD
black OM1 cheap. It had an original Varta 1.35V mercury V625PX in it but
was reading two stops low aginst my OM2sp and the basic sunny 16 test. So,
when I stopped sobbing I had an idea and popped in a new Excell 1.5V silver
625 which I'd bought in error some time ago. Spot on! This is not a camera
that would have been adjusted, I think (looks like it's been in the
cupboard for a while and the foam's gone). Is it possible for a meter to
drift this much? Is two stops difference right for a silver vs a mercury? -
seems rather a lot.
