I´m sure that when all digital cameras had included
raw feature, someone will design some software in order
to convert this raw file to Reala, Ektachrome, Astia,
Sensia, etc... colour gamut. Now there is something
similar related with B/W. When you scan some colour
photo and you convert it to B/W. What do yo do? Desaturate?
Convert to B/W? What channel do you use? Red? Green? Blue?
It´s known that red is used in high percentage in order to
get the most details in the shadows, green for the strenght
of the image and blue is only used in small quantities.
I´ve been experimenting with colour portarits, converting
them to B/W and differences are pretty noticiable.

It will be very pleasant to shot your portraits without
having to use this too much saturated reversal film,
not suitable for skin tones. You´ll only have to concentrate
on the subject and nothing more.
