I don't think that the battery drain issue is that big of a deal. If you use
good quality 357 batteries you should be able to get roughly 6 months out of
them, about the same as a OM2s. I actually get a little better battery life out
of my OM4 than I do on the OM2s (8vs6 months avg.)
