You do know the argument against chemicals doesn't apply so much to the chip 
makers because the argument is that the pollution at the chip plant can be 
more easily controlled and contained because there's only a small number of 
plants, but the photo labs are everywhere and can't be monitored as easily. 
Also, the film pollution is ongoing at the consumer end (each time you bring 
film for developing) but not so for digital.
