Stores around here seem to stock either Select Black and White+ OR T400CN
Pro. Each time I ask why, they say they're identical and they take whatever
Kodak has in stock.
However, a good minilab printer I use claims that the Select has a stronger
mask and is much easier to print in a minilab. I deduce that T400CN is
designed for those who want to print their own from commercially processed
negs while Select is for 'consumer' type customers and prints better or
easier on colour paper. Ilford XP2 is probably better as it has almost no
mask at all - must be a nightmare to print on colour paper.
