Several months ago I bought a camera from a guy on EBAY. It was defective
and I returned it and received a refund from him. A few weeks later I
received an inquiry from a sheriff as to what I may have bought from him. He
had been stealing from his employer and selling the stuff on EBAY. I was
very fortunate to get the money back.  /jnm
