I note on B&H's site that there isn't a thin 49mm. There is a thin B+W however. Anybody using this? If so, how's the vignetting with, say, a 24mm or 21mm?

Olympus has (had??) both 49mm and 55mm circular polarizers. They are relatively thin ring. B&H should have them . . . they're in the "dead tree" catalog. Have you looked at one of them? I've used the 55mm to 24mm without any problem I noticed. The 49mm is about 5mm thick (not including the male threads that screw into the lens ring).

I just looked it up in the last "dead tree" I got from B&H . . . 49mm = $64.95 and 55mm = $74.95, more than I paid for mine, and right up there with the B+W price. :-(
