I've been using some off brand eyecups originally made for the Pentax M
series. They have a metal mounting frame and fit tighter than the
original OM ones. I still lose one occasionally, but not nearly so
frequently. Mine were cheap, I bought a box of eyecups (about a cubic
foot) at an auction for $7.00 - a mix of all brands. I keep threatening
to sort them out, but so far each time I reach into the box the resulting
handful has had at least 1 Pentax M in it, so why bother to sort'em out?
