| If the dates of manufacture are not known can anyone date either one of
| the serial numbers by reference to the purchase date of their own zoom
| lens and the proximity of their lens' serial number with either one
| shown above.

| In addition to the dating of these two serial numbers does anyone know
| whether the formulation of the lens design would have changed for the
| better or the worse between the two serial numbers or whether the 75/150
| was a mass produced lens changing little if any during the course of the
| entire production run.
