As mentioned in the subject header, this is an announcement for a new
addition to a commercial page I made for Jaap Korten, the owner of the Wide
Angle Olympus store. If such a plug offends or disinterests you in any way,
please do not read further and simply delete this message (any and all
flames: olaf_greve@xxxxxxxxxxx).
As promised when launching the Wide Angle site, I will not continuously
announce specific items being present on the site (etc.), but I will make a
plug from time to time when some major new functionality has been added to
the site.
So, now that I'm only addressing an audience that is interested in what I
have to say, I'd like to announce a new addition to the Wide Angle site. As
of now, the Wide Angle site features a "featured item" section. This section
is used for offering special (often hard to find) Olympus gear. The section
incorporates images of the actual item on sale, and it still has some rough
edges. I am contemplating updating the selection and ordering mechanism
sometime (soon, I hope), so I welcome any and all suggestions for
improvements people may have.
For now: the first item offered in the featured item section will be (IMO)
of special interest to many people on the list, as it's the Zuiko 35-80/2.8
zoom. Granted, the price is not as low as what Mark paid for his one on
e-Bay, but the price (again, IMO) is not bad either. ;)
The featured item section is reachable by following the link called "Check
out our special featured item!" from the "Welcome" page at
http://www.wide-angle.nl
I hope to not have offended anyone with this post, and I hope people will
find this new functionality of use.
