Ah, but MC it so pretty to look at : )
The purples and greens, the aurora borealis-like glow......
I have a lens, the Vivitar Series  1 450mm f4.5 mirror, that actually has a 
front element made of  strange plastic, although, looks like any other lens 
to me.
Best thing is it produces great images but was far from cheap.
