Yes and No.

If you use the OM-2 in manual mode, the viewfinder display will show a match
needle display like the OM-1.

When using the OM-2 in auto mode, the viewfinder changes to display the
shutter speeds with the needle indicating the shutter speed for your chosen
aperature for proper exposure.  The downside of this is if stray light hits
the eyepiece, it may give you an inaccurate estimated shutter speed.  Best
to use an eyecup if you can.
