As to the first seller, who has not responded in a week, I would recommend
e-mailing him again, requesting the courtesy of some communication. I had
one seller not correspond with me for almost 3 weeks after a sale. I had
sent a money order, but received nothing. Finally he responded, and I
received the item. There may be a valid reason the seller has not responded
to you (vacation, sick, dead computer, etc.). Keep bugging him.
It seems you may be stuck now as with regards the second situation. Four
days is not an unreasonable amount of time to give a buyer/seller to respond.
In fairness to her, you hardly gave her a chance to respond. Since you have
already sent the item for repair, why don't you contact her again, explaining
that due to the delay in her response, you went ahead and sent the item for
repair, and would she be willing to help with the costs if you were to
provide a copy of the receipt for the repairs. What have you got to lose?
I have been home sick for a week now, and am a full week behind getting off a
money order to a seller, and almost a full week late with another. I'm still
sick, but am going to drag my sorry behind up to the airport p.o. tonite and
get those m.o.s off to them. Stuff happens. Ya just gotta be somewhat
patient.
