: Does anyone know how many stops of error is produced by using a *clear*
: focusing screen, like the 1-5, 1-6 and 1-7, in an OM-1 or OM-2 camera? Does
: it vary with lens focal length??

A small test with the 1-7 in the OM-1 and OM-3, using the 300mm/F4.5, reveals
that using the meter of the OM-1 will underexpose with about 3 stops. This means
that you can compensate with the dial setting (3 stops slower) when you're using
200 ASA film or faster.
