I think so, too. However, the only cases of OMs failing in such conditions
that I seem to recall hearing about were OM-4/4Ts and 2Ss. I guess they are
more prone to these problems as they have more electronical parts, making
them kind of sensitive to humidity. Which is why I still trust my 1, 2 and
2n more than my 4 (they also fell smoother and more solid to me, but that
may be subjective, and they are more repairable if the need arises).
