I have one of those.  It does effectively give you a metered manual
camera, which is good in those cases where you want to decide on your
own exactly which aperture/shutter speed settings to use.

The most convenient facility I get out of it is that in fully manual
mode, I can very quickly use compensation, because whilst that facility
exists already, the compensation control is very unwieldy to use.

Of course, it is, in my opinion, expensive for what it is (12 precision
resistors and a knob!) and in relation to the current second hand market
value of the OM-10. But then again, perhaps it should have been built
in, in the first place !!
