Some of my 50mm 1.8s have the S/N on the "bottom" and "Made in Japan" on the front ring. These are later Zuikos, AFAIK, well before the present-day Cosinas. I'm guessing the Cosina-made lenses will not have "Zuiko" anywhere on them, but it's just a guess.
