If your OM4, when you turn on the battery check, turns off the tone right at
30 seconds, then it has the updated circuitry board.
Re: eBay, if you can get the seller to perform the check and tell you how
long it stays on, that'll help (don't tell them in advance how long you WANT
it to run)...but they often do not have batteries in the camera. And rarely
willing to spend the $12 if they are going to sell it.
