An excellent point. In the past 25 years, I've probably shot fewer
than 25 intentional double exposures, of which only 2 or 3 were worth
the effort. While I'm sure that the double exposure is a critical
technique for some photographers, I suspect that for most of us it
is, at best, a novelty effect only used occasionally.
